ACTIVITIES

     1. Theory section
 
         a. Conduct of all Theory Exams., all Entrance Tests for admission to P.G. Classes and UGC
            NET etc.
 
         b. Creation of examination centres, preparation of date-sheets, despatch of question papers and
             other examination material to the examination centres and arrangement for Police at the
             centres.
 
         c. Appointment of Supervisory Staff, Supdt.-in-Chief, Centre Supdt., Deputy Supdt. and Clerical
             Staff for various UG and PG Examinations and temporary advance to the examination
             centres.
 
      2. Practical section
 
         a. Appointment of Flying Squad/Observer for the conduct of theory examinations and receipt of
             Supdt. last packets.
 
         b. Preparation of Annual/Supplementary budget of the Examination Wing and printing of answer
             books and their supply to the various Examination Centres. Sale of Raddi/Used answer
             books.
 
         c.Conduct of Practicals of all the UG/PG/Engg./B.Ed., etc. exams. and making appointment of
            Practical Examiners.
 
     3. UMC section
 
         a. Appointment of Ph.D. Examiners and evaluation of Ph.D. thesis, award of Ph.D. degrees,
            conduct of Research Committee Meetings, correspondence for conducting viva-voce relating
            to Ph.D. and verification of Ph.D. remuneration bills.
 
         b. Conduct of meetings of UMC Committees/Appellate Committees and disposal of Unfair
             Means Cases.
