B.A. (Mass Communication)- B.A. (H) MC: 3 Years
The study of mass communication as a specialized course has also been introduced by the IMC&MT, KUK at under graduate level. The basic aim of the course is to train the young people in the art and craft of mass communication at the entry level of their college education and prepare them for higher education in the field. In addition to the study of languages and social sciences, this course exposes the students to the basics of journalism, advertising and public relations. After doing this course one can join media organizations or go for higher studies or may appear for competitive examinations.

Eligibility: Senior secondary (10+2) with any combination of subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

B.Tech. (Printing, Graphics and Packaging )- B.Tech.PG&P: 4 Years
Today, all goods must be packaged for their protection, transportation and storage. Packaging also helps to sell the goods. It is a science of protecting and art of presenting. India has a huge packaging industry but there is a tremendous shortage of packaging specialists. KU is the only university in the country which offers B.Tech. Printing, Graphics with Packaging as major components of the course. The course of B.Tech. Printing, Graphics and Packaging is an engineering and technology course mixed with art and craft of it. It will prepare students to perform as creative packaging designers with adequate knowledge of graphics and print. The course empowers the students with ample job opportunities in the field of printing, graphics and packaging industry.
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: Senior secondary (10+2) Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics with at least 45 % marks in aggregate.
Seats: 40
Fee: Rs.40,000/- per year (in two installments)
Admission: Admission will be made by Haryana State Technical Education Society on JEE merit.

The expansion in graphics and animation industry is a global phenomenon. India is no exception to this development. It has witnessed a spectacular growth in the field during the last few years. This boom is directly linked to media expansion. Expanding graphics and animation industry is providing enormous opportunities to the youth having sound background of aesthetics and technology. Apart from animation, this industry is about the production of intractive self learning material, advertising and developing animated web content etc. There is an acute dearth of professionals in the industry of graphics and animation. According to an estimate Indian animation industry needs over three lakh animators, while only 10% demand is being met by various training institutes. There is hardly any university that imparts education and training in Graphics and Animation. Major thrust of this course is on the science and art of communication as well as technologies of mass communication. The skills, both writing and use of equipments, required to work as media persons in television, radio, newspapers and magazines, web world, public relations and advertising are imparted by experienced and qualified teachers. Video and digital cameras, computers with latest software and applications, printing machines, audio recording and editing systems, art labs and latest video editing systems help the students to learn the use of latest media technologies efficiently. The uniqueness of this course is that the student has to opt for specialization in any specific media field in the final year of the course.
