Brief C.V. of Ms. Shweta Kashyap, Assistant Professor (Contract):
Ms. Shweta Kashyap is working as Assistant Professor in Department of History at Kurukshetra University,Kurukshetra since 2014. Before joining Kurukshetra University, she taught in D.S College, Aligarh. She is specialized in Medieval Indian History.She has special interest in Dalit and women studies.She presented manyresearch papers in National and International Seminars.One of her important papers were: "The Problem of Gender Discrimination in India: An Historical Overview" presented in South Asian History Conference, Punjabi University, Patiala; "Partition of India: A Study of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar’s Thoughts on Partition” presented in International Conference on ‘1947: Rethinking’ organized by Department of History, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She also worked as Organizing Secretary in anICSSR Sponsored Two-Day National Seminar on Decoding Mahatma Phule: Man, Reformer and Thinker’ organized by Department of History, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
