3. Even, since its inception, the department has remained in the exercise of keeping its syllabi updated to catch the worldwide recent developments in societies and in academic sphere. The Department has changed it syllabi to the tune of UGC NET Exam and Model Curriculum, and, other Civil Services Exams by adapting under Semester Systems covering general, theoretical and empirical areas or the sub-disciplines of sociology.
4. One UGC – Ambedkar Centre sponsored Project Completed successfully.
