Research Facilities

FACILITIES

Computer Lab
The Centre has a computer lab with 16 computers and  5 printers in the computer lab. All the computers have Wi-Fi connectivity. The computer lab is used by faculty members and students for accessing e-content and research work.

Classroom
WSRC has a, ICT enabled Classroom for organising theory classes and training sessions with a seating capacity of 36 Students.

Conference room

The centre has a Conference room, equipped with LCD Projector with Wi-Fi connectivity, Screen and sound system to support programmes with large gatherings. The conference room has seating capacity of more than 60 persons. Capacity building workshops and trainings of faculty, students and other stakeholders from society are organised in this conference room.

Faculty Room

WSRC has a well furnished Wi-Fi enabled faculty room for faculty members of centre and faculty visiting the centre from other departments. The facility is also used for after class interaction of faculty with students.

Library

Library is a big asset of Women’s Studies Research Centre. The centre has a rich library on the subject of Women’s Studies having more than 2500 books. National and international research journals, project reports, reports of the governmental agencies like Census, National Family Health Survey, National Commission for Women are also documented in the library. The students and research scholars of the Kurukshetra University as well as from other universities of Northern India pursuing research on gender regularly visit the library and take benefit of the rich collection of material. The library has a sitting capacity of more than 20 students.
